BRIGHTEST YOUNG
MINDS SUMMIT
- Sandton, Johannesburg
Brightest Young Minds (BYM) is an annual event with the vision to create a platform which showcases the potential of Africa’s brightest young minds in order to fast track their development for the benefit of the continent.
The event is a week-long experience aimed at bridging the gap between students and the professional world. It also places focus on encouraging students to share ideas amongst inspiring peers and allow partner companies to pose specific challenges facing their businesses to a group of bright, young South Africans.
The event takes place over the course of a week from the Monday to the Friday. The event includes 100 invitees from across Africa.
Aleit coordinators were on site for the duration of the event and seamlessly transformed the conference room from session to session as needed by facilitators.
The highlight of this event were two feature walls created by our team. The first wall encouraging delegates to write “sugar cubes” or little notes of positivity to each other anonymously, whereas the second wall, a data map, allowed us to visually present the inner workings of young Africans by asking what makes them think, feel and happy.
